2027 Disney After Hours Planning Tips and Dates

Disney parks feel different after dark. The temperatures ease, the lights come on, and even a familiar ride can feel like a whole new experience.

If your favorite part of a Disney vacation is riding attractions, Disney After Hours may be worth adding to your 2027 plans. These separately ticketed evenings offer extra time at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, with lower wait times and select snacks and bottled drinks included.

The biggest planning question? Whether a late night fits your family. If everyone enjoys staying up, it could be a highlight of your trip. If your children are usually asleep by nine, you may get more enjoyment from a regular park day.

Below, you’ll find the 2027 dates, what makes each park’s event different, and a few things to consider before choosing your night.

Disney After Hours Tickets

Tickets for 2027 Disney After Hours are now available to all guests. Once you’ve chosen your park and event date, we recommend booking early because tickets are limited, and your preferred night could sell out. If you’re not sure which event fits your vacation, we’re happy to help you decide.

Your After Hours ticket includes more than the late-night event itself. You can enter your chosen park as early as 7 p.m., giving you time to explore before the event officially begins without purchasing a separate daytime ticket for that evening.

During the event, enjoy shorter waits at participating attractions, plus ice cream novelties, popcorn and select bottled drinks included with admission. At Hollywood Studios, you may also spot Disney characters making surprise appearances along the way.

One thing to keep in mind: the quieter atmosphere and shorter waits apply to the After Hours event, not necessarily the hours before it starts.

2027 Magic Kingdom After Hours

Magic Kingdom After Hours runs from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. each event night (see all dates below). Guests with an After Hours ticket do not need to make a park reservation to come in before the event officially starts. As with all After Hours events, guests can enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m.
