Setting sail from PortMiami in August 2027, Hero of the Seas is the fourth revolutionary ship in Royal Caribbean’s award-winning Icon Class lineup. Designed as the ultimate family vacation, Hero of the Seas features eight unique neighborhoods, nine pools (the most swim space at sea!), the Category 6 waterpark with groundbreaking new slides, and the adults-only Hideaway retreat featuring the largest swim-up bar at sea.
During her 2027–2028 inaugural season, Hero of the Seas will mainly sail 7-Night Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries roundtrip from Miami. Every single 7-night sailing includes a visit to Royal Caribbean’s incredible private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay:
Western Caribbean Ports: Explore tropical destinations including Costa Maya & Cozumel (Mexico) and Roatán (Honduras) alongside Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Eastern Caribbean Ports: Experience turquoise waters in pristine ports such as St. Thomas (Charlotte Amalie), St. Maarten (Philipsburg), and San Juan (Puerto Rico).
How much does Hero of the Seas cost?
A brand new cruise ship is rarely the most budget-friendly option on the ocean; however, our discounted agency rates will save you hundreds - or even thousands - of dollars on the Hero of the Seas! We have secured a variety of prime sailing dates between September 2027 and April 2028, including highly sought-after holiday sailings. We have Ocean View Balcony, Ocean View (window), and Interior cabin options available.
These exclusive rates are held under "group space," where the price was locked in early before public rates increased. While we secure these rates in bulk, you do not need to be traveling with a group to take advantage of them! Rates are calculated based on 2 guests per stateroom, regardless of age.

Frequently Asked Questions on Group Rates
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN non-refundable AND refundable deposits?
When you book a Non-Refundable Deposit, your deposit is strictly non-refundable, even if you cancel before final payment. In addition, making changes to your ship or sailing date will incurs a $100 per person change fee (plus any fare difference).
Cruise lines usually charge a higher rate for a Refundable Deposit to give travelers peace of mind. However, our Exclusive Group Rates beat the cruise line's non-refundable pricing and include a Refundable Deposit, giving you the best price and flexibility!
Is it cheaper to book Hero of the Seas with a travel agent?
Yes! It can be much cheaper to book any cruise with a travel agent! In addition to the personalized services you will receive, travel agents frequently have exclusive rates available to them that you won’t find direct, plus extra perks - like a Refundable Deposit, Onboard Credit, a free Specialty Dining meal, or other perks. The availability varies on ship and sail date, and it’s best to book well in advance, because these rates and perks DO disappear!
Will I need to Do Group Activities or Eat with Strangers?
Not at all! Group rates are purely a pricing structure. You won't have mandatory group events, badges, or schedules, and you won't even know who else booked under the same group rate. However, if you are traveling alongside friends or family in separate cabins, we can link your reservations so you are seated together at dinner each evening in the Main Dining Room.
Do I have to pay everything at once, or can I make payments?
You do not have to pay everything at once, you are welcome to make payments! We can either set up a payment plan, or you can make payments at your leisure. The only thing required up front is the deposit of $250 per person. The balance is due at 90 days prior to sailing.
